This filter is constructed using a MERV 6, fiberglass media with a downstream scrim and encased in the same partially recycled cardboard frame as pleated air filters. Unlike disposable filters made with sharp metal, these will not cut your hands and feature a low pressure drop and high level of filtration. Each filter lasts up to 1 month and should be changed and disposed of regularly. Based on your environment, you may need to change your filter more frequently than once a month.
